On 27th September 2018 British Standards Institution announced that the long awaited grouted anchor testing standard, BS EN ISO 22477-5: 2018 has been published. Dr Devon Mothersille was nominated to take over the convenorship of the European working group (CEN/TC 182/WG5) charged with the task of completing the development of the document in 2015. By way of background the draft version of this standard has been in existence for over a decade, so it was a tremendous achievement to complete the document over a two and a half year period.
